• Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

    [ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

black jack is a game that somehow reminds me of a wild ride. It is a game that starts slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are astonishing. As is the case with the popular amusement park ride, your black jack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going well for awhile before it bottoms out once again. Of course you have to be a bettor that is able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game simply because the game of blackjack is full of them.

If you like the small coaster, one that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop on for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not thinking about the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that is awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed everything while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an amazing ride … your head in the stratosphere. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will quickly remember that devastating drop as clear as day.
